Actions menu

The available options on the Actions menu depend on whether a Backup or a Restore window is active, and which optional NetBackup features are licensed.

Option	Description
Specify Policy and Schedule	Opens the Backup Policy and Schedule dialog box where you can specify backup policies or archive policies.
Backup...	Opens the Backup Files dialog box so you can review backup selections and other options before you proceed with the backup. You can also click the Start Backup of Marked Files icon on the Backup window toolbar. See Backup Files dialog box.
Add to Exclude List	Adds the selected files, folders, or registry keys to the Exclude File List. See Exclude List tab.
Add to Include List	Adds the selected files, folders, or registry keys to the Include File List. See Include List tab.
Administer Database Templates	Lets you list, remove, rename, edit, and run existing database templates. If you are licensed for NetBackup for DB2 Agent or NetBackup for Oracle Agent, you can administer database templates by selecting the appropriate menu option.

Option	Description
Search Backups	Opens the Search Backups dialog box. You can also click the Search Backups icon on the Restore window toolbar. See Search Backups dialog box.
Preview Media	Opens the Media Required dialog box that shows a list of media that is required to restore the marked items. You can also click the Preview Media Required for Restore icon on the Restore window toolbar. See Media required dialog box.
Restore	Opens the Restore Marked Files dialog box You can also click the Start Restore of Marked Files icon on the Restore window toolbar. See Restore Marked Files dialog box.
Select Restore Type	Opens a submenu where you can select to restore from the following backup types: Normal Backups See Restoring from normal or archived backups. Archived Backups See Restoring from normal or archived backups. Raw Partition Backups See About restoring from raw partition backups. True Image Backups See Restoring from a true image backup. Backup Exec Backups See Restoring from Backup Exec backups. Point in Time Rollbacks See Restoring from a Point in Time Rollback. Proxy Normal Backups See Restoring from backups as a proxy. Proxy Archived Backups See Restoring from backups as a proxy. Proxy Raw Partition Backups See Restoring from backups as a proxy. Proxy True Image Backups See Restoring from backups as a proxy. Proxy Point in Time Rollbacks See Restoring from backups as a proxy.
