Building Your Configuration

During the build process, the target system registry hives are created.

Before building your configuration, you must check dependencies.

To build your configuration

  1. In the All Nodes pane, select the appropriate configuration to build.
  2. On the Imagemenu, click Build Only.
  3. In the Build New Configurationdialog box, click Product Identificationto specify the product identification (PID) for your target system.
  4. Click Start.
  5. In the Target Designer Network Settingsdialog box, you can change the binding order of network components.
  6. To continue, click OK.
    Note   Events and messages are displayed during the build process.
    You can build and install in one operation.
    You must enter a PID if you are building a target system for a customer.
    In the All Nodes pane, a configuration is represented by a folder and computer icon.
