Overview of setting up SMTP archiving

You need to perform the following steps to configure SMTP archiving:

Ensure that the prerequisites are satisfied for the Enterprise Vault server and SMTP archiving.

See the "Enterprise Vault prerequisites" section of the Installing and Configuring manual for more information, including "Additional prerequisites for SMTP archiving".
Set up the Microsoft SMTP virtual server.

See Setting up the Microsoft SMTP Server.
Install and configure the Enterprise Vault SMTP archiving components on the Microsoft SMTP Server computer.
Create the holding area and its folder structure.
On the Microsoft SMTP Server computer, create a suitable SMTP archiving configuration file.
Run SMTP archiving to populate the holding area with the files to be archived.

On the Enterprise Vault server, configure File System Archiving to archive from the domain root folders of the holding area.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@systemmanager.forsenergy.ru to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
