The Multifunction Adapter Properties VLAN tab
displays all Ethernet VLANs that currently exist for the selected
adapter. To display the VLAN tab, complete the following:
Click VLAN
(802.1Q). The Multifunction Adapter Properties window
displays the VLAN tab.
Ethernet controls are not available for
FlexNIC-enabled adapters.
Ethernet VLAN Connections:
Add.
Displays the VLAN Properties, which allows you to add a new
Ethernet VLAN for the selected adapter.
Edit.
Displays the VLAN Properties which allows you to edit existing
Ethernet VLAN names and IDs for the selected adapter.
Remove. Removes the selected Ethernet VLAN
from the adapter.
Properties. Displays the VLAN Information
tab, which provides additional information for the selected
Ethernet VLAN IDs.
Default/Native
VLAN Id. Displays the VLAN ID to which all packets
received without a VLAN tag are sent. The default/native is the
lowest VLAN ID defined for the adapter.
Default/Native
VLAN Tag. This feature adds a VLAN tag to the
Default/Native VLAN packet. This feature is currently not supported
on adapters with iSCSI enabled.
iSCSI VLAN/QoS (802.1p/Q):
iSCSI VLAN
Id. Shows the VLAN identifier value to be used for the
iSCSI device.
iSCSI VLAN
Name. Shows the descriptive name for the VLAN ID.
Add.
Opens the VLAN Properties box, which allows you to add a VLAN ID
and Name. Only one iSCSI VLAN can be created.
Edit.
Opens the VLAN Properties input box, which allows you to modify the
selected VLAN ID or name.
Remove. Deletes the selected VLAN.
iSCSI Packet
Priority. Selects the QoS Packet priority for the iSCSI
device.
Controls:
OK.
Saves your settings and returns to the Ethernet Devices
tab. To apply the VLAN, click OK on the Ethernet Devices tab.
Cancel. Closes the window without saving
your settings and returns to the Ethernet Devices
tab.
Help.
Launches the context-sensitive NCU Help file.
