VLAN Properties

From the VLAN Properties dialog box, you can add or change VLAN properties.

1. On the Ethernet Devices tab, select an adapter or team.
2. Click VLAN (802.1Q).
3. Click Add to add a VLAN or select an existing VLAN and click Edit to modify a VLAN.

   

Controls:

• VLAN Name. Every VLAN must have a name assigned to it. Duplicate names are allowed if you want to use the same name for different VLAN IDs.
• VLAN Id. The next available VLAN ID displays in the VLAN ID list. A valid ID is any number that is not already being used for a VLAN defined on this team or adapter and that is in the range of 1–4094.
• OK. Returns to the VLAN tab and adds the new VLAN name and ID to the list of VLANs.
• Cancel. Ignores changes made and returns to the VLAN tab.
