Multifunction Advanced Settings tab

To access the Advanced Settings tab for an HP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter:

1. On the Ethernet Devices tab or on the iSCSI Devices tab select a Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter.
2. Click Properties. The Multifunction Adapter Properties window displays and the tabs displayed varies depending on the adapter that you selected.
3. Select the Advanced Settings tab.
   • The Ethernet Property list varies based on the adapter that you selected.
   • Ethernet controls are not available for FlexNIC-enabled adapters.

     

Controls:

• Ethernet Property. Lists the Advanced Settings properties available for the selected adapter. Adapter-specific property information is available by selecting the operating system and adapter in the table of contents of this help file.
• Value. Displays the current value of the selected property and allows you to change that value.
• Restore Default. Restores the selected property to its default value.
• OK. Saves your settings and returns to the Ethernet Devices tab.
• Cancel. Closes the window without saving your settings and returns to the Ethernet Devices tab.
• Help. Launches the context-sensitive NCU Help file.
