This function builds a matrix in fixed point format that represents a rotation transformation around an arbitrary axis.
Syntax
D3DMXMATRIXFXD* WINAPI D3DMXMatrixRotationAxisFxd( D3DMXMATRIXFXD* pOut, CONST D3DMXVECTOR3FXD* pV, FIXED Angle ); |
Parameters
- pOut
-
[in, out] Pointer to the D3DMXMATRIXFXDstructure that is the result of the operation.
- pV
-
[in] Pointer to the D3DMXVECTOR3FXDstructure that identifies the axis angle.
- Angle
-
[in] Angle of rotation, in radians. Angles are measured clockwise when looking along the rotation axis toward the origin.
Return Value
Pointer to a D3DMXMATRIXFXDstructure rotated around the specified axis.
Remarks
The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOutparameter. In this way, the D3DMXMatrixRotationAxisFxd function can be used as a parameter for another function.
