This topic explains some of the error messages that could be encountered with Cellular Emulator.
Cannot find seven pairs of XPVCOM port
Cellular Emulator will use some virtual serial ports to communicate. Please reinstall the package to get it work.
No AT commands are shown on the ‘AT Log’ tab
Make sure the Device Emulator serial mapping is correctly configured. If you start Device Emulator with a saved-state image, please try to soft-reset the device.
The network name shown on Windows Mobile today screen is 35638
This is by design. ‘35638’ stands for ‘FKNET’, short for ‘Fake Network’.
