This topic describes the installation steps for the Cellular Emulator tool.
- Pentium IV 1GHz or higher
- At least 256MB RAM
- At least 256MB free hard disk space
- At least one Ethernet network card for data connection test.
- Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
- Device Emulator v2
- Windows Mobile SDK
Install the Cellular Emulator Package
The package will be installed together with the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 DTK. A command line window will pop up in the process and will close by itself. Do not try to close it manually.
Uninstall the Cellular Emulator Package
If the Cellular Emulator is running or a virtual COM port is occupied, the uninstall process will be terminated. Before starting to uninstall, please make sure that the Emulator has been exited and no other application is running on the virtual com port.
