Attributes tab of the Disk Staging Schedule dialog box

Configure the second stage of disk staging on the Disk Staging Schedule dialog box. During this stage the backup image is copied from one storage unit to the final destination storage unit.

The Disk Staging Schedule dialog box contains the following options:

See Priority of relocation jobs started from this schedule.

See Retries allowed after runday attribute.
See Frequency schedule type.
See Final destination storage unit.
See Final destination volume pool.
See Final destination media owner.
See Use alternate read server.

From the Attributes tab, you can configure a schedule to create multiple copies.

The following settings determine how many copies are created:

Check the Maximum backup copies host property, which specifies the total number of backup copies that can exist in the NetBackup catalog (2 through 10).
NetBackup creates either the number of copies specified under Multiple copies, or the number of copies specified as the Maximum backup copies property, whichever is smaller.
