Xlpd is a server program. When you start Xlpd, its icon is created in the system tray. When you close the main Xlpd window, it runs on the background and still receives incoming print jobs. You may use the Pop up Xlpd window when an error occurs option to be notified when an error occurs.

1. Open Xlpd main window.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Click the Server settings button. RESULT: The Xlpd Server Settings dialog box opens.
4. Select the Pop up Xlpd window when an error occurs check box.
5. Click OK or Apply.
