If your development system is running Windows Vista and it meets the following requirements, then you can develop Windows Mobile applications using Visual Studio on that system:
- ActiveSync must not be installed.
- In order to support data synchronization, you must install the
Windows Mobile Device Center application from this
Microsoft Web site . - Visual Studio SP1 must be applied.
- When using the SDK Samples, an error may be generated at build
time. Copy the sample directory to a new location before loading
it.
