The authentication level of the queue specifies whether the queue accepts only authenticated messages.

By default, a queue accepts both authenticated and non-authenticated messages.

To change the authentication level of a queue
  1. Declare an MSMQQueueInfoobject.

  2. Call MSMQQueueInfo.Refreshto retrieve the registered properties of the queue.

  3. Set MSMQQueueInfo.Authenticateto the new authentication level.

  4. Call MSMQQueueInfo.Updateto change the authentication level of the queue.
