The default color scheme on Windows Mobile Professional and Windows Mobile Classic is changed using standard provisioning techniques.

Changing the Default Color Scheme

To change the default color scheme you should create a provisioning XML file. The default scheme is in a file named mxipcold_wpc_2.provxml. Add a new file, mxipcold_wpc_<n>.provxml (where <n> is greater than 2) to the OEM package.

The file should set values for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color\DefShColorand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\DefSysColor. The values correspond to those of ShColorand SysColorrespectively, as defined in Shell and System Colors.
