The Home screen is the primary starting page for Windows Mobile Professional and Windows Mobile Classic designed to show dynamic, relevant content at a glance.
Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional comes with two built-in Home screens, the new Windows Default Home screen, and the Windows Classic Home screen from Windows Mobile 6 Professional. In addition, OEMs can replace the Home screen on Windows Mobile Professional with a custom application.
Windows Mobile 6.5 Classic only comes with the Windows Classic Home screen. The Windows Default Home screen is not available on Windows Mobile Classic. However, OEMs can replace the Home screen on Windows Mobile Classic with a custom application.

Today screen to Home screen Name Change
As of Windows Mobile 6.5.2, the Today screen on Windows Mobile Professional and Windows Mobile Classic has been renamed the Home screen. This name change affects every type of Today screen. The following table describes these name changes.
