This code sample is named SyncManager. It demonstrates how to use the ActiveSync APIs, demonstrating such functions as ActiveSyncStartand ActiveSyncStop. The application displays the use of State and Notification APIsto register for the two sync-related status entries: Sync Statusand Cradle Status.

Usage

To run the code sample

  1. Navigate to the solution file (*.sln), and double-click it. By default, the solution files are copied to the following folders:

    C:\Program Files\Windows Mobile 6.5.3 DTK\Samples\Common\CPP\Win32\SyncManager

    Microsoft Visual Studio launches and loads the solution.

  2. Build the solution (Ctrl+Shift+B).

  3. Deploy the solution (F5).
To use the application

  1. Click the application icon to launch SyncManager.

  2. Click Menu> Startto launch a sync session.

  3. Click Menu> Stopto terminate the sync session.

Remarks

The main screen shows Device Cradle Statusand Sync Status.
