Message Queuing sets the date and time when the queue was created.

You must call MSMQQueueInfo.Refreshbefore attempting to retrieve this property.

Note:
If your application does not have MQSEC_GET_QUEUE_PROPERTIES access rights for the queue, an MQ_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED error is returned to MSMQQueueInfo.Refresh.
To retrieve MSMQQueueInfo.CreateTime

  1. Declare the MSMQQueueInfovariable for the queue.

  2. Obtain an MSMQQueueInfoobject.

  3. Call MSMQQueueInfo.Refreshto update the local properties of the queue object.

    MSMQQueueInfo.CreateTimeis a read-only property set when the queue is created.

  4. Use MSMQQueueInfo.CreateTimeas needed.
