This function builds a matrix in fixed point format that represents a rotation transformation around the x-axis.

Syntax

Parameters

pOut

[in, out] Pointer to the D3DMXMATRIXFXDstructure that is the result of the operation.

Angle

[in] Angle of rotation in radians. Angles are measured clockwise when looking along the rotation axis toward the origin.

Return Value

Pointer to a D3DMXMATRIXFXDstructure rotated around the x-axis.

Remarks

The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOutparameter. In this way, the D3DMXMatrixRotationXFxdfunction can be used as a parameter for another function.
