Returns an HRESULTvalue that depends on the implementation. HRESULTcan be one of the following standard constants, or other values not listed.

Remarks
This method registers the filter, its pins, and the media type associated with the pins. It should be implemented to use IFilterMappermethods to accomplish this. See the CBaseFilter::Registermember function for a description of its implementation.
