NdisAnsiStringToUnicodeString

This function converts a specified counted ASCII string into a counted Unicode string. The translation conforms to the current system locale information.

Parameters

DestinationString
Pointer to a caller-allocated buffer in which this function returns the converted Unicode string.
SourceString
Pointer to the ASCII string to be converted.

Return Values

NDIS_STATUS_SUCCESS indicates success. Otherwise, the contents of the buffer at DestinationStringare unaffected.

Remarks

The caller must allocate storage for both the source and destination strings and release these buffers as soon as the strings are no longer needed. The buffer at DestinationStringmust be at least twice the size of that at SourceString.

A driver that calls this function runs at IRQL PASSIVE_LEVEL.

Windows CE OS 2.0 and later Ndis.h    
Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
