HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\
The System subkey stores entries related to policies of the operating system, such as the logon environment, task scheduler, and permissions to set and update group policies. These entries are created and maintained by Group Policy, and are read and interpreted by system component programs.
The System subkey in HKEY_CURRENT_USER stores entries that are configured separately for each user. There is also a Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System subkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, which stores entries that apply to all users of the computer.
