Determines how many entries can be stored in each FRS trace log file (Ntfrs_000x.log).
When the number of event entries reaches the value of Debug Maximum Log Messages, the system closes the log file and starts a new log file. The log files are numbered sequentially, so that when the FRS closes Ntfrs_0001.log, it begins Ntfrs_0002.log.
The default value of 10,000 entries (0x2710) uses approximately 1 MB of disk space.
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
