HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\
The Windows subkey contains entries that store Group Policy settings for components of Windows 2000. The subkeys and entries in the Windows subkey are written and maintained by Group Policy, and are read and interpreted by the component that implements them.
The Windows subkey in HKEY_CURRENT_USER stores entries that are configured separately for each user. There is also a Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows subkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE which stores entries that apply to all users of the computer.
