Description

Specifies how long the server waits before calling the client back for authentication. The value of this entry is a default which is used only when the client does not specify an interval between callbacks. It is used only when the callback feature is enabled.

This entry differs from AuthenticateTime which specifies the minimum interval between attempts to authenticate the client, not just, not just to contact the client by calling back.

Change method

To change the value of this entry, use the Wait interval for callback policy in Group Policy. (Computer Settings\Software Policies\Windows NT Remote Access)

Activation method

You must stop and restart Routing and Remote Access before changes to these values take effect.

Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
