LocalVolumes

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DfsDriver\

Description

The LocalVolumes subkey stores configuration data that is specific to a local volume managed by Distributed file system (Dfs).

The LocalVolumes subkey contains a subkey for each Dfs-managed local volume on the system. The entries in each local volume subkey apply only to that volume.

Tip Image Tip

To repair a damaged Dfs root, use the Dfs snap-in. If the Dfs snap-in does not fix the root configuration and you cannot stop hosting a Dfs namespace, you can delete the Dfs root configuration. Delete the DFSHost subkey, and then delete the subkeys in the LocalVolumes subkey (in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DFSDriver). Do not delete the LocalVolumes subkey.
