To set the option for running programs when a user disconnects

Using the Windows interface

  1. Open Services for UNIX Administration.
  2. If necessary, connect to the remote computer you want to manage.
  3. Click Telnet Server.
  4. Click the Server Settings tab.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To have programs terminate when the user ends the Telnet session, click Stop all programs.
    • To allow programs to continue to run, click Continue to run all programs started with the background job (bgjob) command.
  6. To save the settings, click Apply.

Using a command line

Argument Description
computer The name of the remote computer you want to manage.
killAll={yes | no} To terminate all applications when the user disconnects from the session, type yes; to allow programs started with the bgjob command to continue to run, type no.
