Searching for Parameter Values
In order to properly define your report, you must choose the values to include in your report. Enterprise Reporter helps with this task by providing a list of currently available values, based on the data that has been collected in your environment. By selecting from a list instead of typing in a value, you can be sure that data exists, and that you have entered the value correctly.
Because there can be large amounts of data available, you can search for the parameter value for any string field. You can enter search phrase, or use the * wildcard to help narrow down the results. Only the first 500 results are returned; in this case, you need to provide a more refined search term.
To search for a parameter value
1.
Anything you have typed in the parameter value text box becomes the search term if you click the Search icon.
2.
If you do not enter a search phrase, and click Search, all results are returned.
3.
