Setting Global Local Group Options

The Local Groups (All) option only appears under the Global options for the following reports:

•	Administrator Access by Computer

•	Local Group Membership by Computer

•	Local Groups by Computer

These reports may have to collect an extensive amount of information, depending on the size of your network. Filtering local groups can significantly improve performance and decrease the time needed for data collection.

To set Local Groups options for all computer objects

1.	In the bottom pane of the Object Picker, expand the Local Groups node and double-click Add.

You can also right-click the node and select Add.

2.	Click Next.

3.	In the Include box, type the name of the group to include and press Enter.

4.	Repeat step 3 until you have entered all the group names to include.

The group names you enter for inclusion and exclusion will be used for whole or partial matches. For example, if you specify Adm as a group name to exclude and you have groups called "Admin group" and "Exchange Administrators", they will be excluded.

5.	In the Exclude box, type the name of the group to exclude and press Enter.

6.	Repeat step 5 until you have entered all the group names to exclude.

7.	Click Next.

8.	Click Finish to return to the Object Picker.

The Exclude value takes precedence over the Include value.
