Windows Logical Disk Manager volume properties

The Windows Logical Disk Manager Properties of Volume dialog box shows the properties of the selected volume.

If you open this dialog box from the New Volume Layout window, you can change the label of the volume and the compression.

The drive letter of the volume.

Layout

The layout of the volume.

Label

The label for the volume.

System volume

Whether the volume is the active partition.

Location

The drive letter of the volume.

Boot volume

Whether the volume contains the system files.

Size

The size of the volume.

File system type

The type of file system.

Free space

The amount of space available in the volume.

Compress

Whether the data on the volume is compressed.
