Discovered Configurations window

The Discovered Configurations view shows all of the configurations that were created by discovering clients. A discovered configuration contains information about physical disks, devices, and other hardware that is attached to the system. Use the Refresh option to update the details pane with new information retrieved from the master server.

Usually, you discover the configuration of a target system so you can do one of the following:

Map disks during a dissimilar disk restore.
Map the attributes of a protected system to the target system during a dissimilar system restore.

To	Do the following
View a configuration's properties	Right click a configuration in the details pane and then select Properties on the shortcut menu.
Delete a configuration	Right click a configuration in the details pane and then select Delete on the shortcut menu.
Discover a configuration	Click Actions > Prepare to Discover.
