Discovery Task Properties dialog box

Use the Discovery Task Properties dialog box to view the properties of a discovery operation. All of the fields in the dialog box are read-only.

Field	Description
Client	The name of the client.
Configuration	The configuration that is used for the task.
Shared Resource Tree	The SRT used for the task.
Creation Time	Date and time the task started.
State	Active Waiting (an external procedure is running) Done (no error) Done (error) Queued
Operation	Discovery External Procedure Finalizing Mapping Failed
Architecture	The architecture for the system. If a client is selected, the value for that client is displayed.
IP address	The IP address of the machine to discover. If an interface is selected in the Preload Values from Interface field, the value from that interface is displayed.
Network Mask	The network mask of the machine to discover. If an interface is selected in the Preload Values from Interface field, the value from that interface is displayed.
Console	The name of the device to write messages to.
MAC Address	The Media Access Control (MAC) address of the interface that is used to boot the client at discovery time.
Gateway	The gateway for the network routes during the discovery operation.
