Virtual Machine Servers pane

Virtual Machine Servers shows information about all storage servers in your configuration.

Field Description

Name

The name of the virtual machine.

Virtual Machine Server Type

The host type for the virtual machine, as follows:

  • VMware VirtualCenter server. For a VirtualCenter that manages multiple VMware ESX servers.

  • VMware ESX server. For ESX servers where there is no VirtualCenter. Use this dialog box to enter credentials for each ESX server.

  • VMware Converter. Not currently implemented.

Port

The Internet port for the virtual machine server.
