Computer Windows

The computer window defines the time in which the computer is able to perform activities. Each computer has its own window. By default the computer windows are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. You can set the time of the computer window on a day basis. For example, if you set the computer window to be open from 18:00 to 24:00 on Mondays and Fridays, then the window is open every Monday and Friday at the same time. Computer Window times are according to the time on the Configuration Server to which the computer belongs.

In order for activities to occur on computers, the server window on the server to which the computer belongs must be open at the same time as the computer window. If the windows do not intersect, then the Agent for Windows keeps checking each window for an overlapping time. The agent checks the windows according to the Poll Interval parameter in the Agent for Windows Settings package.
