Upgrading overview

You can upgrade to version 9.0 from versions 8.0 or 7.6. Upgrading from versions 7.5, 7.0, or 7.0 SP1 is also possible, but the upgrade process from these versions is not fully supported. You cannot upgrade to 9.0 from versions earlier than 7.0.

When upgrading to this version, you can use the same Express database as in your current installation. As a precaution, you should back up your Express database before proceeding.
