Diagnostics for HP NC-Series Intel adapters

• Control Registers. For each Control Register, a pattern is written and the register is read.
• FIFO Registers. For each FIFO Register, a pattern is written and the register is read.
• EEPROM. Reads the EEPROM and verifies the checksum.
• Interrupt. Tests the Interrupt Mask Clear Register and the Interrupt Cause Set Register.
• Loopback. Tests both MAC loopback mode and transceiver loopback mode.
• Link. Resets the adapter and checks to see if link is re-established.
