Teaming adapters

Teaming creates groups of adapters that increase throughput and fault tolerance in the system.

Before teaming adapters, you should be aware of the following:

• Adapters must be on the same network.
• Adapters must be capable of operating at a common speed for Load Balancing team types. For information on teaming types, see "Teaming Controls tab."
• Any VLANs on an adapter will be removed before the adapter is added to a team.
