A shared calculation rule can be defined once, and then used
throughout the service
hierarchy. While shared calculation rules can save you time,
take care to use them only in identical situations, because changes
to the rule affect all components that use the rule.
Create or edit a shared calculation rule:
Open the Service Editor
Select
your top-level services folder in the console tree.
Clickon the Configuration
toolbar to open the Service Editor.
Select the Calculation Rules button.
Select the rule you want to edit.
Select New or Edit.
Enter the name of the shared calculation rule. This name is
visible in all status calculation dialog boxes.
Enter the description of the shared calculation rule. This
description is visible in all status calculation dialog boxes.
