When you assign Profiles to computers, the packages or hardware jobs are automatically executed on the computers. The package parameters you set when you added a package to a Package Profile, or when you assign a profile to computers are applied to the computers.
To assign profiles to computers:
In the Scope pane, click <All Profiles> to display the Profiles in the Result pane.
In the Scope pane, expand <All Computers>.
From the Result pane, drag a profile to a computer or computer group in the Scope pane.
For Package Profiles, the Assign Profile dialog box appears. Then a Managing package jobs activity is started and the execution of all of the packages in the profile is initiated.
For Hardware Profiles, the hardware jobs are added to the computer.
