Controlling Network Load

There are a number of ways in which you can control network load, including the following:

• Setting boot properties

• Assigning boot priorities for computers

• Controlling the timing of CCM actions (set time control)

• Allowing a user to postpone CCM actions

To reduce network load, you can:

• Delay individual copy procedures to spread the network load over a longer period of time.

• Adjust the maximum number of simultaneously active computers.
