If checked, the computer boots from the network.  If unchecked, the computer boots locally.  

In most cases, Netboot is cleared automatically after the CCM action that required the netboot has completed.

The Pre-OS Agent uses this setting to calculate the file copy delay and black copy delay when building the RAM disk on the computer.  The CCM Windows Agent uses this setting to calculate the file copy delay and the action time period for jobs on the computer.

Select a value from 0 (highest priority) through 4 (lowest priority).

Value
0      Highest priority that deactivates the active time period, resulting in no delays and no network load control.

1      Highest priority with network load control that results in the fastest transfer.

4      Lowest priority with network load control that results in the slowest transfer.
 

Locking the Ctrl key disables the following key combinations:

Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Ctrl+Break

Ctrl+C

If you use the Fdisk utility to create your own partitioning scheme, CCM will not be able to keep track of the drive lettering, and the partition sizes will not be displayed in the Command Center.
 

To set the Boot and Security properties:

1. Select <All Computers>.

2. Select the computers in the Result pane, or select a computer group in the Scope pane.

3. Right-click the selected computers, or the computer group name

4. Click Computer Properties.

5. In the Edit Computer Properties dialog box, click the Boot and Security tab.

6. Set the Boot and Security settings.

7. Click OK to save the changes.
