The HP USB Key Utility is a Windows®
application that enables you to copy the Firmware Maintenance CD
contents to a USB memory key. You can then run the Firmware
Maintenance applications from a USB key instead of from the CD.
To make a bootable CD for Windows users:
Download the USB Key Utility Smart Component
from the HP website to a directory
on your hard drive, and then switch to that directory. The
downloaded file is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the USB Key Utility Smart Component Number.
From that drive and directory, execute the
downloaded file, and then follow the instructions to create a
bootable CD.
