ROM-based utilities generically switch to run in either Windows® or VT100 mode to provide maximum user benefit. RBSU also provides a user-configurable method for viewing and setting the console mode, which is set before launching an Embedded ROM Utility remotely, through either a serial port connection or iLO. The mode can also be set automatically.
