Troubleshooting a Target System Build

If your build does not complete successfully, the build status and errors are listed in a log file in the following path on your development system: Target Designer\TMP

If a build fails, the following is a possible cause:

Target Designer failed to copy files into the build directory

In the All Nodes pane, select the appropriate configuration.
On the toolbar, click the Files Viewbutton.
In the details pane, verify that the files are in your configuration, and that their source path is the same as the Target Designer source repository path.
Note The source repository path is set up in the Imagemenu under Settings.

If a file is compressed, you do not need to decompress it.
