The function based on this prototype initializes the keyboard driver.

Syntax

Parameters

pfnKeybdEventCallbackEx

[in] Pointer to a PFN_KEYBD_EVENT_CALLBACK_EXfunction used as the callback into the input system.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure. To obtain extended error information, call the GetLastErrorfunction.

Remarks

This function starts a driver interrupt service thread and performs any other driver initialization.

Layout Manager initializes each platform dependent driver (PDD). The callback function passed to this function is used only to send connection information to GWES because Layout Manager uses keybd_eventto send keyboard events.
