This message notifies a list-view control parent window about the start of label editing for an item. It is sent in the form of a WM_NOTIFYmessage.

Syntax 

LVN_BEGINLABELEDIT 
pdi = (LV_DISPINFO FAR *) 
lParam;

Parameters

pdi

Pointer to an LV_DISPINFOstructure. The itemmember of this structure is an LVITEMstructure whose iItemmember identifies the item being edited.

Return Value

TRUE prevents the user from editing the label. FALSE enables the user to edit the label.
