This function compares two octet strings.

Syntax 


SNMPAPI SnmpUtilOctetsComp(
  AsnOctetString 
pOctets1
, 
  AsnOctetString 
pOctets2 

);

Parameters

pOctets1

Pointer to an AsnOctetStringstructure to compare.

pOctets2

Pointer to a second AsnOctetStringstructure to compare.

Return Value

The function returns a value greater than zero if pOctets1is greater than pOctets2, zero if pOctets1equals pOctets2, and less than zero if pOctets1is less than pOctets2.

Remarks

The SnmpUtilOctetsCmpfunction calls the SnmpUtilOctetsNCmpfunction.
