Sets a new playback rate.
Syntax
HRESULT SetRate( double dRate ); |
Parameters
- dRate

New rate, where 1 is the normal rate, 2 is twice as fast, and so on.
Return Value
Returns E_INVALIDARG if dRateis zero. Otherwise, returns the HRESULTvalue returned from calling IMediaSeeking::SetRateon the connected pin.
Remarks
This member function implements the IMediaSeeking::SetRatemethod by calling this same method on the upstream filter's output pin. It is an error to set the rate to 0.
