Customizing the PIM User Experience by Using Source Providers

Source Providers are custom functions (DLLs) that you can create and implement, that are part of a mechanism that supports "Per-Provider Customization" of the PIM experience on Windows Mobile devices. They allow you to provide a customized Summarytab for associated Contact items when the user opens them from the Contact list view, provide a custom icon for associated Contact items when they appear in the Contact list view, and display Appointment items with alternate background colors in the Agendaand Dayviews.

Customizing Action Key Behavior for Calendar Hyperlinks

A developer can customize what happens in response to a user selecting a hyperlink in the calendar application. The developer must provide event handlers to implement the desired behavior.

Creating Custom Plug-ins for Launching Outlook Mobile Applications
