This function unregisters a DMO.

Syntax

HRESULT DMOUnregister(
  REFCLSID 
clsidDMO,
  REFGUID 
guidCategory
);

Parameters

clsidDMO

Class identifier (CLSID) of the DMO.

guidCategory

One of the DMO GUIDs. It specifies the category from which to remove the DMO. Use GUID_NULL to unregister the DMO from every category.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULTvalue. Possible values include the following.

Value Description

S_FALSE

This CLSID was not registered in the specified category

S_OK

Success

E_INVALIDARG

Invalid argument
