Main CompatAdmin Window

The main CompatAdmin window is made up of three panes: the System Database pane in the upper left corner, the Custom Database pane in the lower left corner, and the Details pane on the right side of the window.

System Database Pane

This pane allows you to view and browse applications with compatibility fixes in the Windows XP Professional system database.

Custom Database Pane

This pane allows you to create, edit, and rename custom database files (.sdb).

Details Pane

This pane allows you to view, enable, and disable existing fixes in the system database. You can also use this pane to view, enable, disable, and add matching file info, and to test run existing fixes in custom databases.
